Sierra Grace Fellowship noticed many new faces were coming through their doors. Unfortunately, those new faces weren’t sticking around. Kettle Fire was asked to develop church welcome materials that make newcomers feel comfortable and encourage them to engage in the church’s programs, such as weekly Bible study.
Church welcome materials
We created a series of posters for the church’s Welcome Center that feature photos from church activities. We continued the collection of church welcome materials with a two-sided flyer introducing newcomers the children’s program and giving an overview of the church services. Finally, we created a flyer for the church’s tutoring program, RCCrew, encouraging young people to volunteer at a local school. All the pieces have a cohesive look, further building the church brand.
Bible study workbook
A pastor-led team developed their own study on the book of 1 Peter. The weekly study included individual devotional exercises and group discussion questions. We laid out the extensive material into a well-organized Bible study workbook. Icons guide readers through common sections, giving continuity to the weekly study. Areas for notes allow each person to connect with the study in his or her own way. Headings and side bar titles keep readers oriented throughout the 64-page booklet.
