Client: Panorama Events
Business card design
Julie Jacobsen has been a successful event planner for several years. She came to us at Kettle Fire when she was ready to launch her own event planner firm focusing on large-scale live events. She needed a company name, logo design, and business card she could be proud to show off.
We interviewed Jacobsen to draw out the heart of her new brand and learned she is no party planner. The events she plans take months of work, incredible attention to detail, and the ability to think globally about the bigger picture.
Her company name needed to evoke the completeness of her services, her professionalism and expertise, as well as her relational skills. It also had to be legally usable, unique in the industry, and coordinate with an available domain name. Panorama Events reflects the breadth, vision, and scale of Jacobsen’s work.
The Panorama Events logo design had to connect visually with the company name. It needed to be eye-catching, professional, and approachable. The stage shape is reminiscent of live events without being kitschy. It connects to the text in a manner that suggests the only thing you need for complete success is Panorama Events.
The colors are modern, energetic, and appealing to Panorama’s target audience. The combination of lowercase and all-caps typography creates visual separation while maintaining readability.
Business cards are still a big deal in the event industry and Julie specifically did not want hers to be all white. We used her brand colors to create a sweeping shape in the negative space. The logo design is shown in full-color and reverse, and the phone number pops in peppy spring green.
